Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas ended their relationship and parted ways in 2023 after being together for 7 years and having two children. In a recent interview, the Game of Thrones actor opened up about her relationship with Joe and how it was her experience to be a part of the Jonas family.

She, Priyanka Chopra and Danielle Jonas are married to the three Jonas Brothers – Joe, Nick and Kevin and were often seen accompanying them on their musical tours.

The actress revealed that being treated “like the wives” was something she didn’t appreciate but clarified that Joe never made her feel like that.

“There was a lot of attention on the three brothers, and the wives. Well, we were always called the wives, and I hated that.” Sophie said that the three women were somehow perceived as “groupies.” “It was kind of this plus-one feeling. And that’s nothing to do with him – in no way did he make me feel that – it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band,” said Sophie to British Vogue.

After Joe and Sophie’s relationship hit a rough patch, several tabloids called her irresponsible mother, who liked to party. Calling that phase the worst time of her life, she added, “I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children. They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can.” She also mentioned that Joe is a “great father to our children.”

Sophie also expressed gratitude towards Taylor Swift for serving a helping hand when the GOT actress was in New York last September without a place to stay. Swift invited her to stay at her residence. “I’ve never been more grateful to anyone than I am for her because she took my children and me, and provided us with a home and a safe space. She really has a heart of gold,” said Turner.
