Bollywood’s reputed ‘IT’ couple Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have officially parted ways. Arjun announced his single status during a film promotion event. Despite their separation, he supported Malaika when her father passed away. Arjun stars in ‘Singham Again,’ which released today, featuring notable actors like Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone.

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor were once regarded as Bollywood’s ‘IT’ couple , overcoming numerous criticisms and opinions to stay together. However, rumours of their breakup surfaced online earlier this year, and Arjun publicly acknowledged that he is ‘single’ on October 28, 2024. Malaika reportedly took to her Instagram and shared a post on October 30, 2024.
The post read, “Touching a heart for a second can touch a soul for a lifetime.” The actress wrote “Good morning” to her Instagram followers along with the note, but the cryptic interpretation of love left the internet wondering how things are between the former couple.
In a video that has been doing the rounds on social media, the actor opened up about his relationship status at a promotional event for his upcoming film ‘Singham Again’. In his amusing interactions, with the audience during the event, he revealed that he had broken up with Malaika Arora by saying, “Mai abhi single hoon” (I am single), while talking about his plans to get married in future.
Malaika started dating Arjun in 2018 following her divorce from Arbaaz Khan. Their age gap first drew a lot of criticism, but they boldly overcame it. Prior to their split, for which the cause is still unknown, Malaika and Arjun were often spotted together on holidays, demonstrating their love for one another.

During an interview with Hello Magazine in June 2024, Malaika revealed that she hasn’t given up on the concept of love and would constantly strive for it.
