Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been forced to move out of their $20 million LA home. They have filed a lawsuit against the seller of the house.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had purchased their lavish home in Los Angeles in 2019. However, the couple has now been forced to move out of their abode. According to a recent report on Page Six, the reason is said to be because of the house becoming ‘virtually unlivable.’
The report speaks of nasty water damage in the property which has led to mold infestation. The couple has filed a lawsuit against the seller following the same. The many damages to the property have rendered it, “dangerous from a health perspective to occupy.”
Nick and Priyanka’s luxury home boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, temperature temperature-controlled wine cellar, a chef’s kitchen, a home theatre, a bowling alley, a spa and steam shower, a gym, and a billiards room. The lawsuit which was filed in May 2023 stated that the pool and spa began experiencing problems soon after the house was bought by the couple. The waterproofing problems in the house led to “fostered mold contamination and related issues.”
Apart from this, there was also a water leakage in the barbecue area of the deck. Priyanka and Nick are now seeking consequential damages from the seller. According to the publication, the lawsuit states, ‘In the alternative, plaintiff should be reimbursed for all costs of repair, plus compensation for the loss of use and other damages caused by defendants’ conduct.’ The report furthermore mentions that the cost of repairing the property will go beyond $1.5 million and could also go up to $2.5 million which is almost Rs 13 to 20 crore.
As of now, Priyanka and Nick along with their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas have moved to another property until their home is being repaired. Meanwhile, on the work front, Nick along with his brothers Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas was in India to perform at the Lollapalooza. Priyanka will soon be seen in the Hollywood movie Heads Of State.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have reportedly moved out of their LA mansion due to mold infestation. Reports said that the couple had no choice but to move out as the excessive leakage was having a health impact. They have also filed a lawsuit against the original seller.
Now, the actor took to Instagram story to share some glimpses from her house which seems to be her new residence. Priyanka, in her latest post, shared how she finds joy on a rainy day and indulges in music. She also asked her fans if they remember the tune.
Priyanka Chopra shared a video on her Instagram stories, as she captured the rain outside her window and Pankaj Udhas’ song ‘Aur Ahista’ played in the background.
She wrote along with the clip, “Rainy days…my favourite. Who remembers this song?”
PeeCee also shared a monochrome photo of a lamp and its shadow and wrote, “Does this shadow look like a giant rat or is it just me?” The post has scary music playing along.
