Varun Dhawan, who has been in the industry for over a decade, opines that Bollywood needs to reinvent itself if stars want to be relevant to the audience.
The Baby John star shared that Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have also understood that things have changed.
“We will all have to go ahead. People who are in the powerful positions right now, there is an age limit, those who are doing the same thing for years. They are only at the helm. I am not sure if they recognise it but it is important to change with time. We all will have to do it or we’ll lose relevance, including me. It is difficult because you don’t want to change,” Varun told Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast.
He added, “The upcoming stars or the ones who are still aspiring have these circles but those who are already on that stature, they don’t have these people around them. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, they are not delulu (delusional). They are aware of what’s happening”.

Wamiqa said,”Baby John was my first experience of working on an action film of such a large scale. Both the production and me were nervous. For the first action sequence shoot, they had allotted some 8-9 hours considering that I’ve never done it before. But to everyone’s surprise, we shot the scene within 2-2.5 hours! That’s when I realised I have a little bit of a Wonder Woman thing going on. It’s been a great experience working with Kalees Sir and Atlee Sir. They really do manage to bring out the best out of you.”
