KARACHI: Former England cricketer and current fast bowling technician Ian Pont has shared a picture of a mesmerizing cricket ground situated in the District Upper Chitral of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
The ground is located amid the serene and lush green Shepheshun Meadows in Upper Chitral’s headquarter, Booni.
“Pakistan has some seriously awesome backdrops for cricket,” Pont wrote.
The location remains a tourist attraction from the end of March till the end of May. Locals, as well as people from different parts of Pakistan, visit Shepheshun Meadows.
Every day, a massive number of locals go to this scenic setting surrounded by snow-capped mountains to play cricket, football, and polo.
Annually, Jashn-e-Shephesun is held at this location, where players compete in sports like cricket, polo, and some local sports.
