Bollywood celebrities are known for their opulent lifestyle, and in 2024, we witnessed them invest heavily in high-end cars, lavish properties, and exotic vacations. From Deepika Padukone purchasing a plush new apartment in Bandra to Ranbir Kapoor adding a swanky new Bentley Continental GT V8 to his fleet of cars and Abhishek Bachchan investing over Rs 30 crore in multiple real estate deals, below are some of the most extravagant purchases made by Bollywood celebrities this year.

1. Ranbir Kapoor
Ranbir Kapoor’s penchant for luxurious rides is known to all. In 2024, the Bollywood actor added a swanky Bentley Continental GT V8 to his fleet of expensive cars. The stunning British-manufactured vehicle comes with a 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and is priced at around Rs 6 crore in the Indian market.
2. Kriti Sanon
From venturing into the cosmetic sector to donning the producer’s hat for Do Patti, actress Kriti Sanon has been busy shuffling between various roles. This year, she joined the list of new homeowners by acquiring a 2,000-square-foot plot in The House of Abhinandan Lodha’s (HoABL) luxury project Sol de Alibaug in Alibaug. According to MoneyControl, Kriti Sanon paid Rs 2 crore to buy the plot in July 2024. Interestingly, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan also owns a 10,000-square-foot plot in the same luxury project.
3. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput
In 2022, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput moved into their new sea-facing home in Three Sixty West — a premium residential tower in South Mumbai. This year, the celebrity couple purchased another property in the same tower for a whopping Rs 59 crore. Additionally, they have also rented out the 6,176 square foot apartment for a monthly rent of Rs 20 lakh for the next five years, according to News18.

Following the success of Animal, actress Triptii Dimri bought a ground plus two storey bungalow in Bandra West, Mumbai. According to a Hindustan Times report, she paid Rs 14 crore for the bungalow spanning across 2,226 square feet, with an additional built-up area of 2,194 square feet. She also paid a stamp duty of Rs 70 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 for the property.
5. Emraan Hashmi
After essaying the main antagonist in Tiger 3, Emraan Hashmi gifted himself a luxurious Rolls-Royce Ghost, valued at around Rs 12 crore. The British-manufactured vehicle is equipped with a powerful 6.75-litre twin turbo V12 engine and an eight-speed auto transmission, which can propel the car from 0 to 100 kmph in less than five seconds.

Sara Ali Khan, who featured in two projects this year—Murder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan—expanded her real estate portfolio by acquiring two commercial units for Rs 22.26 crore in Signature Building, located in Andheri West, Mumbai. Both the units are located on the ninth floor of the commercial tower. The 29-year-old actress and her mother Amrita Singh paid total stamp duty of Rs 1.33 crore to complete the transaction, according to Hindustan Times.
7. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan
According to Hindustan Times, Abhishek Bachchan has purchased around 12 properties in Mumbai for Rs 30 crore in 2024. In May, Abhishek Bachchan acquired six apartments (total area of 4,894 square feet) in the Oberoi Sky City project in Borivali for Rs 15.42 crore. A few months later, he bought six more properties in Mulund’s Oberoi Eternia project by Oberoi Realty. Abhishek Bachchan paid Rs 14.77 crore for these residential properties. Additionally, his father Amitabh Bachchan also invested Rs 10.18 crore to acquire four apartments in the same tower.

One of the highest-paid actors in the country, Aamir Khan expanded his real estate portfolio by acquiring a 1,027 square foot apartment for Rs 9.75 crore in Bandra, Mumbai. According to The Indian Express, the property is located in Bella Vista Apartments — a premium residential tower where Aamir Khan already owns 9 out of 24 units.
9. Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala, purchased a plush apartment in Bandra this year. According to NDTV, the couple paid Rs 20 crore for their 3,350 square-foot property located on the second floor of Sandhu Palace tower in Pali Hill, Bandra. Additionally, the celebrity couple paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.20 crore and a registration fee of Rs 30,000 for the property, which comes with four parking spaces.
10. Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone purchased a new apartment through her company (KA Enterprises) in Bandra, Mumbai, earlier this year. According to The Economic Times, the actress paid Rs 17.8 crore for the 1,845 square-foot apartment located in the same residential tower where her husband Ranveer Singh owns a quadruplex worth Rs 119 crore. Additionally, Singh’s mother, Anju Bhavnani, also owns a unit in Sagar Resham Co-operative Housing Society.
