Salman Khan has been in the limelight for being gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s next target after the assassination of the actor’s close friend and politician Baba Siddique. After Salman’s alleged involvement in the blackbuck poaching case, the jailed gangster has asked the Bollywood star to apologise or face the consequences.

As per Lawrence, Salman has humiliated the Bishnoi community by killing a blackbuck. Now, the veteran writer and actor’s father Salim Khan has claimed that his son has not killed the animal and he was not even present during the poaching incident.

This is precisely why the Bishnoi community is angry all over again and they burned effigies of Salman Khan and Salim Khan in Rajasthan and said the veteran writer cannot mislead people like this.

“We are Bishnois, we do not defame anyone just like that. When the case was registered 26 years ago, many dignitaries, including the then MLA of the Bishnoi community, were present. Salim Khan cannot mislead people by giving false statements. The entire community was hurt by Salim Khan’s statement. We will make all-out efforts to ensure justice was delivered in the Blackbuck case. We will also protest by taking to the streets,” the group said in a statement.

Aur woh mujhse jhooth nahi bolega. Usko nahi hain shaukh jaanwar maarne ka. Jaanwaro se mohabbat karta hai woh. (He won’t lie to me. Salman doesn’t have a liking of hunting animals. He loves them),” said Salim Khan on the controversial case.

He went on to add, “Maafi maangna ye accept karna hai ki maine maara hai. Salman ne kabhi kisi jaanwar ko nahi maara. Humne kabhi kisi coackroach ko bhi nahi maara. Hum inn cheezo mein believe hee nahi karte (Apologising would mean admitting to it. Salman never killed any animal. We have never even killed a cockroach. We do not believe in these things).”
